Empowering Students to Thrive

Practical wellbeing tools for lifelong resilience.

School Wellbeing Programs

Equipping students with practical tools to thrive—in school and in life.

With over 20 years of experience teaching PDHPE in private schools across Sydney and leading international schools in Asia, alongside morethan 10 years teaching yoga, meditation and wellbeing, I have witnessed a significant shift in the challenges young people face.

Today's students are navigating increasing academic expectations, social pressures, extracurricular commitments and the constant influence of technology and social media. Many are experiencing heightened levels of stress, anxiety and emotional overwhelm, making it more important than ever to support not only their mental health, but their ability to regulate it.

Throughout my years in education, one thing has become increasingly clear.

Schools do an incredible job of educating students about mental health, resilience and wellbeing. However, there is often a gap between understanding these concepts and knowing how to manage them in everyday life.

When a student is overwhelmed before an exam, struggling with anxiety, finding it difficult to concentrate or experiencing emotional dysregulation, they need more than awareness—they need practical strategies they can use in that moment.

That is the heart of my work.

I combine my experience as an educator with evidence-informed practices including somatic movement, breathwork, mindfulness and meditation to deliver engaging workshops that teach students tangible skills they can use throughout their lives.

My programs are designed to help students understand how their nervous system works and, more importantly, how to regulate it.

Through movement, breathing techniques and mindfulness practices, students learn how to calm their bodies, improve focus, manage stress, build emotional resilience and develop greater self-awareness.

These are not simply wellbeing conversations—they are practical wellbeing experiences that empower students with lifelong tools to support their mental, emotional and physical health.

School Wellbeing Programs Include

  • Exam Performance & Nervous System Regulation Sessions

  • Wellbeing Week Workshops

  • Years 7–12 Wellbeing Programs

  • Stress & Anxiety Management

  • Emotional Regulation Workshops

  • Mindfulness & Meditation

  • Breathwork for Focus & Calm

  • Somatic Movement for Nervous System Regulation

  • Teacher Wellbeing Workshops

  • Parent Education Sessions

Each workshop is tailored to the developmental needs of the students and aligned with your school's wellbeing priorities.

My goal is simple: to leave every student with practical tools they can confidently use—in the classroom, before exams, during challenging moments and throughout their lives.

Because wellbeing isn't just something we talk about.

It's something we practise.

Supporting PDHPE Curriculum

As an experienced PDHPE teacher, I understand that schools are looking for meaningful wellbeing experiences that complement—not add to—the curriculum.

My workshops support the NSW PDHPE syllabus by providing students with practical opportunities to develop and apply the knowledge, understanding and skills explored in the classroom.

My workshops support curriculum outcomes by helping students develop:

Self-management skills

  • Recognising signs of stress and anxiety.

  • Learning practical strategies to regulate emotions and behaviour.

  • Developing coping strategies for challenging situations.

  • Building confidence and resilience.

(Supports the PDHPE focus on Self-Management and Interpersonal Skills, including outcomes such as PH4-SMI-01 and PH5-SMI-01.)

Health and Wellbeing

  • Understanding the connection between movement, breathing and mental wellbeing.

  • Developing strategies to support lifelong physical and emotional health.

  • Learning practical approaches to managing stress and maintaining wellbeing.

(Supports the Health and Wellbeing focus area and outcomes including PH4-SHW-01 and PH5-SHW-01.)

Movement and Physical Activity

  • Exploring how mindful movement can improve emotional regulation, focus and overall wellbeing.

  • Participating in movement experiences that promote lifelong physical activity and healthy lifestyle habits.

(Supports the Movement Skills and Strategies and Health and Wellbeing through Physical Activity focus areas.)

Resilience and Decision Making

  • Developing strategies for responding to pressure and adversity.

  • Building self-awareness and emotional regulation.

  • Strengthening confidence in making healthy choices under stress.

(Supports the syllabus aim of empowering students with the skills to promote their own health, safety and wellbeing.)

Bringing Wellbeing to Life

While the PDHPE curriculum provides students with valuable knowledge about health and wellbeing, my workshops help bring these concepts to life through practical, experiential learning.

Students don't just learn what stress is—they experience evidence-informed techniques that teach them how to regulate their nervous system, calm their mind, improve focus and build resilience.

These are practical skills students can immediately apply in the classroom, before exams, on the sporting field and throughout everyday life.

Student Outcomes:

Students leave each workshop with practical strategies they can immediately apply at school and beyond.

Participants develop skills to:

  • Understand how stress affects the brain and body.

  • Regulate their nervous system during times of pressure or overwhelm.

  • Improve focus, concentration and learning readiness.

  • Build emotional awareness and self-regulation.

  • Develop healthy coping strategies for stress and anxiety.

  • Increase resilience and confidence when facing challenges.

  • Strengthen self-awareness and positive self-talk.

  • Improve connection with themselves and others.

  • Enhance overall wellbeing through movement, breath and mindfulness.

  • Build lifelong habits that support positive mental health and wellbeing.

My aim is for every student to leave feeling calmer, more confident and empowered with practical tools they can use before exams, in the classroom, on the sporting field and throughout everyday life.

Because wellbeing isn't just something students learn about—it's something they experience and practise.
